Tom Schulte and Stephen Elliott (our HOA President and Vice-President respectively) met with the presidents of the two homeowners’ associations for Sunset Beach this past August and September. One of the items that was brought to the attention of the Sunset presidents was the fact that there are portions of the staircase leading down to the beach that are in need of repair. It was also mentioned that the shower needed to be expanded in order to accommodate the number of people visiting the beach.
We are happy to report that we received word from the Sunset Community Association Manager that on Monday, November 2nd work is scheduled to begin on expanding the shower area and making needed repairs to the staircase. In order to ensure the safety of everybody visiting the beach, there will be times when it will be necessary for the boardwalk to be closed for a short period.
